Social Media Content Strategist


 

Schedule: Part-time, 6:00AM - 10PM PST

Job Description:

The agent will be responsible for managing various social media platforms, scheduling posts, and optimizing content for each platform's requirements. They will develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement, create, schedule, and post content across multiple platforms, and ensure the security and privacy of account passwords and data. The agent should possess a solid understanding of video editing tools (basic skills) and be proficient in using social media management platforms.

Note: This role does not require someone to be a professional production video editor.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement. Create, schedule, and post content across various platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Posting-Frequency: Handle the responsibility of posting a substantial volume of content, aiming for more than 10 pieces per day across multiple social media platforms. Maintain consistency in posting schedules while considering platform-specific best practices for optimal reach and engagement.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the business owner to produce videos, photos, and infographics suitable for editing and posting.
  • Basic Video Editing: Utilize video editing software to trim, crop, and edit raw videos provided by the business owner. Ensure the final content aligns with the brand's style and messaging.

Requirements:

Portfolio: Provide a comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous work and experience in social media management and content creation.

Familiarity with Tools: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media management platforms and video editing tools. Demonstrate proficiency in using industry-standard software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools (basic skills).

  • Proficiency in graphic design and photo editing software is a plus.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and the ability to analyze data to refine content strategies and optimize performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the business owner effectively and with other team members.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
