Phlebotomist
Job Description:
- Properly perform laboratory extractions to patients
- Explain technical procedures to patients in a simple manner and answer questions of the patients related to the procedure to be conducted

- Might be tasked to check completeness of all needed laboratory reagents and supplies and proper maintenance of all machine and equipment
- Prepares specimen for send-out and coordinates with the concerned laboratory for pick-up and release of results
- Ensures that extractions are being done with utmost accuracy and efficiency
- Strictly observes standard set on aseptic technique and universal precaution, as well as proper disposal of infectious wastes and / or sharps
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (BSMT)
With a minimum of 6 months’ work experience in same field.
Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and prioritize what has to be accomplished first
Strong understanding of the ethics of confidentiality
Good written and verbal communication skills
Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions
Detail oriented
Computer literate
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php14,500.00 - Php15,000.00 per month
