TITLE: EXTERNAL AREA SUPERVISOR/ OIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

EXTERNAL AREA SUPERVISOR is responsible for monitoring the security operations for any client or company. They implement security policies, regulations, rules and norms and make sure that the environment of the client’s organization is safe for employees and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be well versed with general set-up of the Agency so as to be able to act on problems that may come up.
  • To be kept informed regarding the place assignments of guards by having updates roaster of guards available at all times. Any absent guard should be properly replaced.
  • Submit Daily Situation Report to the Operation Coordinator on or before 12:00 pm.
  • Submit Monthly Disposition Report to the Operation Coordinator on or before the 5thof the month.
  • Monitor all Security Guard License with the expiration.
  • Control all matters within the area of operations and strictly enforce and implement the rules and regulations in directing activities of personnel under his command.
  • Adopt appropriate security measures and strictly enforce the same as much as possible.
  • Directly supervises all men under his command so as to prevent any fatal or incendiary event that may occur or result from their guard’s negligence.
  • Conduct a direct summary investigation against undesirable guard/s facing charges in order to afford them the essence of fairness and fairly. (That is when the guard is recommended by the OIC to due punishment).
  • Inform the Operation Manager from time to time of the achievements and or developments within the area of operations.
  • Assumes full responsibilities for any actuations or acts of misconduct of men under his command.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise security officers and guards.
  • Conduct interview to guards to determine their suitability to the nature of business of the client before actual posting.
  • Brief guards about Rules and Regulations of the Agency and the Client to be posted to include their appraisal of courtesy and discipline, hygiene and sanitation while on post and the parameters of RA 5487; such as proper handling of firearms, circumstances or circumstance with exempt from criminal liability, and other information of value for the good of the security service.
  • Conduct inspection to the guards on duty to ensure that they are neat in appearance and complete uniform while on duty and to check whether they religiously observe the Agency and Client’s Rules and Regulations.
  • Conduct security survey to the premises of the client to determine any loophole to security and to submit findings and recommendation to the Operation Manager.
  • Conduct from time to time performance audit of security guards ensures that quality security service is being delivered to the client.
  • Conduct visit representative of the client to discuss mutual concern both the agency and the client.
  • Submit report as pertains to findings and recommendations to the Operation Manager about the prevailing security situation of every client.
  • Write or review security-related documents, such as breaches and incident reports, proposals, and tactical nor strategic initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments.
  • Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist the Operation Manager in the pursuit of the mission and the objective of the Agency in as much as marketing aspect of the Agency and other security concern as far as the Operations Department is concern.
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
  • Assist the Operation Coordinator of the Agency in terms of recruitment of security guards and other matters involving the smooth flow of operations.
  • Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, or applicable government security requirements, policies and directives.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in reviewing and updating of Security Management Plan (SMP), Contingency Plans and SOP’ s in close collaboration.
  • Monitor security personnel field movements and conduct field visits.
  • First point of contact for Security Personnel on Safety and Security concerns.
  • Maintain an accurate record of Security Personnel.
  • Assist Operations Manager for risk assessment and analysis and Physical Survey.
  • Assist Operations Manager in preparation of training on security and safety procedures, security awareness, first aid and fire safety for staff.
  • Assist in the management of security and safety incidents provide timely and accurate incident reports and analysis.
  • Track safety-related incidents and developments.
  • The Security and Operations Officer will conduct himself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to the Agency and not to jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
  • Monitor security compliance, service provided and/or their performance to ensure quality of service by conducting Post to Post Inspections;
  • Issue Violation Ticket to all Security guards who committed violations and report accordingly to the Operation Manager and Human Resource Officer;
  • Delivery of Memorandums, Notice to Explain and other related documents issued on every Posts;
  • Report and recommend any ideas for continues improvement of the Department;
  • Monitor the situation of the area’s most especially the main Clients assigned on you.
  • Assist in Submission of Billing to All Clients ;
  • Assist in Collection of Account Payments;
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the management that is related to the Title/Position.

Salary: From Php20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • 13th month salary
  • Overtime pay
  • Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Davao City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
