RemoteVAPH is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Mechanical Drafter to join our team. This is a remote position with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer-aided Designing (CAD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the construction industry. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required. Working hours will be from Monday to Friday from 9 am - 5 pm EST. (Night Shift)
Responsibilities:
- Utilize CAD and Revit software to create accurate mechanical drawings and designs
- Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information and specifications for drafting projects
- Communicate and coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and quality in drafting work
- Contribute to the development of Building Information Models (BIM) for construction projects
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with team members
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet project deadlines
- Apply expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to create detailed and accurate drawings
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize construction processes
- Prepare and deliver presentations to project stakeholders, showcasing the mechanical design and specifications
- Demonstrate supervisory skills to oversee drafting projects and ensure adherence to project requirements
- Utilize budgeting skills to estimate costs and resources required for drafting projects
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical drafting and construction processes
Requirements:
- Professional certification in mechanical drafting or related field
- Experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Revit software
- Strong knowledge of computer-aided designing and building information modelling
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php27,000.00 - Php37,000.00 per month
