Position Overview:

As a Receptionist at Little Me Academy, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors. Your friendly and professional demeanor, along with excellent organizational and communication skills, will ensure a welcoming and efficient experience for all. You will play a vital role in providing administrative support and maintaining a smooth operation of the school's front desk.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and welcome visitors, students, and parents with a warm and friendly attitude.

2. Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries in a professional manner.

3. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

4. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of visitors.

5. Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, and notify the appropriate staff members.

6. Coordinate mail distribution, both incoming and outgoing, and handle deliveries as necessary.

7. Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying documents.

8. Assist in managing student attendance records and maintaining confidentiality.

9. Respond to general inquiries and provide basic information about the school and its programs.

10. Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in an educational environment.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a professional and friendly manner.

4. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

5. Proficiency in using office equipment, such as computers, printers, and telephone systems.

6. Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures.

7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

8. Friendly and approachable personality with a customer-oriented mindset.

9. Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.

10. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of individuals.
